RL Background
Born on 8 June 1978 on the Altus Air Force base in Oklahoma, and moved to South Carolina by age 3. Mother was an Auto-CAD architect, father was a Staff Sargeant in the USAF, and step-father retired as a Master Sargeant Flight Engineer for C-141's. In high school, showed an aptitude for English and Mathematics, while terrible with Sciences. During high school, became involved with the Chess Club, Computer Club, and Junior Classical League (JCL). Awards won in high school include two bronze medals in a tri-county computer programming compeition in QBasic and GWBasic, and several ribbons for trivia competitions in the JCL regarding Roman history and culture. Graduation was in 1996.
After the first semester of college, the Army recruiter dialed up the phone. Since there were no other jobs available, the phonecall led to a plane heading to Missouri and a head shave. Nine months of Basic training and Advanced Infantry Training (AIT) to learn how to be a soldier and a 98C Signals Intelligence Analyst, then off to Germany. A year after arriving, the high school sweetheart breaks it off and all contact was cut. Awards earned were two Certificates of Achievement, two Certificates of Apprectiation, two Volunteer Service Awards, a Letter of Appreciation, a Bronze Schützenschnur from the German military, a Bronze Førstehjælp from the Danish military, the Army Service Ribbon, two Overseas Tour Ribbons, and a Good Conduct Medal. In addition, several trips to the base psychiatrist, two test for depression, a military psychological examination, and four Article 15's for disciplinary actions finally led to the Chapter 13 General Discharge under Honorable Conditions that ended the enlistment.
Met Gabriele (Gabi) approximately a year and a half before the discharge, and two months before the chapter paperwork was finished, on Christmas Day, a ring and a question were her gifts. February, the Army provided a place ticket back to South Carolina. Three months of waiting for the money the military still owed, and constant attempts to getting a one-way plane ticket, Gabi decided to take matters into her own hands. The wedding was on 11 May 2002 in Mom's church. Flight back to Germany, six months of paperwork to make the marriage valid in Germany, and to be put into the system.
The past four years, held a job as Gate Security at the same base for a month, cleaning dishes in a tavern for two, part-time unlocking a store until present, and trying out for a full-time bar-tending job. Currently working full-time in a gas station.
In November 2007 his son Jason was born. Took a break from organized gaming for over a year to concentrate on family.
Origin of Nickname
In the novel series Book of Swords by Fred Saberhagen, there was a wizard that had sacrificed his eyes to gain in magical power. Thus being blind, he summoned demons to serve him and to provide him with their way of seeing. Near this villian's final demise, a band of demons turned against him as well as fighting his enemies. Of the few that remained, Pitmedden was a scout for the wizard. The idea of an evil being, a demon, showing the virtue of loyalty was found appealing, and thus the name was taken. Through the approximate ten years of using the name, there have been slight modifications from time to time. The root of the name, Pit, has been used, mostly when there are too many tags, and the name gets too long. In addition, the modification of the root, Pitbull, was used upon joining the UK-based clan, 31st Airborne Division, before returning to Pitmedden.
In 2004, a search in Google revealed that Pitmedden is the name of a village approximately 16 miles north of Auberdine, Scotland.
The nickname Einzelwölf was created for the first Axis campaign. Broken into the German words Einzel and Wölf, it was meant to be translated into Lone Wolf. While it is, in truth, not proper German, there is no proper translation of the word Lone into German.
Other nicknames held in the past have been a misspelling of Loki and Odin (Llohkkee, or Lowkey, and Oddynn), Lucky, and Fingers.

PlayStyle
Rifle Class
Preferred in battles which favor long range, the rifle is used as a mid-range sniper with iron sights. When assaulting with a rifle, attempts to imitate the rifle masters by standing still and firing, then strafing while reloading with the Kar98. With the Garand, often crouches for accuracy, and moves as though with the Support class weapon.
Assault Class
Another somewhat rarely used class, possibly due to it's lack of accuracy and damage. When used, prefers strafing and firing.
Support Class
The most often used class in Source for it's automatic and semi-automatic functions. In middle range to close quarters with full automatic on, moves up steadily, watching for enemy movement. Crouches for accuracy, and switches to semi-automatic for long range.
Sniper Class
Often known as a "window" sniper, preferring to take a position that provides plenty of cover for reloading. However, these positions are often with a clear view of the front-line, providing many targets. Constantly hunting enemy sniper and machine-gun targets, once they are down, other weapon classes are hunted for a short time. While not as efficient as others, manages to take out at least one before dying.
Machinegun Class
As an experienced machine gunner, this class is often used to lock down a route, preventing enemy movement on a flank. Preferences include providing suppression fire while friendly forces advance, and whilst they engage the enemy forces, moving the machinegun forward into a new position. Occasionally watches a two-man flag to prevent it from falling into enemy hands.
Bazooka Class
Rarely used, the bazooka class is handled as means to take out enemy machinegun and sniper positions. From time to time, the class is taken for the sheer joy of blasting opponents with rockets.
