Position within the Chain of Command
Colonel is classified as OF-5 in the NATO System and Level 18 in Ewoks rank classification system. It is the highest CO rank if one ignores the General ranks. The next lower rank is Lieutenant Colonel on the CO Path. The next higher rank is Brigadier General, Major General, Lieutenant General or even General, depending on which ranks are used.
